The Second Degree Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for career changers who already have a bachelor's degree in another field. This full-time program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in as little as 15 months. The program is designed to provide a seamless entry into the Master of Science (MSN) program, and students may have the option to take up to three graduate nursing courses during the last two semesters of undergraduate clinical coursework.

After completing all required prerequisites, the clinical phase of the Second Degree Accelerated BSN program consists of 38 credit hours taken full-time over 15 consecutive months. Prerequisites courses may be needed depending on the previous degree and grades earned in selected classes.

The BSN degree consists of a minimum of 120 credit hours, with 46 credit hours designated nursing courses. The remaining credit hours consist of prerequisite science, math and general education courses. Coursework from the previous bachelor's degree will be evaluated for transfer credit towards the BSN degree.
