• A choice of two pathways: Leadership (with a vision of becoming a global healthcare leader of the future) or Remote and Rural (gaining skills to lead and provide medical cover to expeditions in the arctic, jungle, desert or mountainous terrains).

The course can be flexible to fit around your work, practice opportunities and travel overseas. The normal is to complete the full time version in one year, and the part time version in three, taking two modules per year and undertaking the dissertation in year three. The course traditionally starts in September with an introductory two days. The Global Health and Project Design, Development and Knowledge transfer modules run in the autumn term, the Remote and Rural Practitioner and Leadership modules in the Spring Term. The distance learning Leadership and Innovation in practice module runs across the year.
