Work placement forms a large part of the Sport Development degree and work-based learning opportunities are available within a wide range of organisations throughout the U.K. and abroad.Graduates are multi-skilled and equipped to lead sport and physical activity development in the sport, exercise, and fitness industries as, for example, Active Schools co-ordinators, sport development officers, facility managers, and health promotion professionals. The modules studied will enable you to design strategies and programmes to increase community participation in sport and physical activity, to manage sport initiatives and events, and to develop youth talent pathways.
